This may begin the whole cycle, the creation of a neglected individual that may feel that the only way to live is to hurt others. This may be by rape, robbery or even child abuse. I understand some of these terms and conditions, however there are always other alternatives. These mothers can be responsible for their actions and have these children instead of killing them off. There are many different programs that place children into loving homes while these young individuals get themselves up to the level to take over the responsibility of raising their child. Even if a person has been raped and do not want to keep the child, there are still better choices than just simply killing. There are many women that do not posses the gift to bear children, and would gladly take over the responsibility of these children no matter the childs background and how it got hear.Warren made many points classifying the criteria of being a person. I found her essay useful. Birth in general produces new things in different colors or shapes, one cannot predict what birth blooms. No matter the argument nothing justifies terminating life, there is no need. Infanticide would still not be permissible, so longs as there are people willing to care and provide for the well being of such infants.(Mary Anne Warren p.129) Warren gives a great example on property and ownership. Warren, feels that mere ownership does not give me the right to kill innocent people whom I find on my property. Indeed I am apt to be held responsible if such people injure themselves while on my property. It is equally unclear that I have any moral right to expel an innocent person from my property when I know that doing so will result in his or hers death.
