If Chelan and Douglas counties alone adopted fluoridation laws because of this, it could save up to 2 million dollars per year on Medicaid.C._Outlaw Fluoridation: This would serve the purposes of the environmentalists and uneducated voters.7._PREFERED POLICY: A._Selected Policy: Fund Programs to raise awareness: 1)This Policy would save the state Money that would normally be spent on Medicaid.2)One of the causes of the problem is that people are uneducated when it comes to fluoridation; this policy attacks the problem at the cause.3)The Dentists would be better off because they wouldn’t lose as much money by serving Medicaid patients.
