This is obviously false, if there wasnot a problem than the topic would never be an issue. Environmentalists are saying thatthe only way to fix this problem is by reducing the level of greenhouse gases producedwithout spending too much money. This is very possible with solutions like cleaner orelectric cars and better wind and solar power technologies. Natural Resources DefenseCouncil program director Greg Wetstone points out “Of course, it’s also possible thatonly when people feel less hopeless will they press their leaders to make the solutionsavailable”(2). This shows that if we are going to fight this problem then we have to do itas a nation, with everyone involved including the president, and with the less supportfrom people there will be less of a chance to correct this problem.Due to the increase in greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and other gasesproduced by human activity, global warming is becoming a bigger issue to deal with. The effec6ts have been clearly seen all over the world and even in our own backyard. With glaciers slowly melting, an increase in temperature, and plants and animals showingdifferent behavior patterns it is obvious that the problem is getting worse. There areseveral individuals who fight and dedicate most of their lives to preventing globalwarming and the effects that come with it. However, with the ;large number of peoplefighting it there is an equal number of those who are not and this is why the problemcontinues. So, until we can all come together and put effort into stopping globalwarming, we will continue to read about the disasters that occur and their effects onEarth....
