Lab 13
Lab 13 Problem: How does the concentration and temperature affect the reaction? Procedure: A. There are several parts to this procedure that tests concentration. This first is the most concentrated while solution A is the most dilute. Pour the solution from beaker to beaker to ensure mixing and clean beakers between steps and time everything. B. This part measures temperature. Begin with solutions A and B cooled to 5 Celsius and the 15-Celsius. See how long it takes for the solution to cool and record everything. Conclusions: The greater the concentration the faster the reaction occurs. 1. The more of the concentration and faster a reaction will take place. 2. The greater the temperature of the substance the faster a reaction will occur. 3. Other things that affect the rate of reaction are surface area and stirring. The collision theory means that the more collisions the faster and more successful the chemical reaction will be. Bibliography:
