There are two points that must be emphasized to insure that your admissions practices are in compliance with the law. First, make sure that you are at a minimum complying with the Bakke opinion (race should be used as only one factor to promote diversity) and finally talk to your Counsel to identify what is the controlling law in your state.All of this legal mess may seem discouraging and a serious challenge to your attempts to achieve diversity.
