Hamlet then finds out that Claudius is planning to kill him but he agrees to go on with the fencing fight. Claudius planned to give Hamlet poisoned wine if Laertes couldn’t kill him. But while the fight was going on Gertrude drank from the cup and died, Laertes wounded Hamlet and before Hamlet died he killed Claudius and Laertes.
