Mr. Gore shows the people he cared enough about his policies to get the facts and numbers correct. While both Mr. Bush and Mr. Gore are strong leaders, Mr. Gore was able to win the debate. Mr. Gore used a direct approach in answering questions, whereas Mr. Bush did not always come across with secure answers. Mr. Bushs distracting answers showed viewers that Mr. Gore was more prepared and focused in the debate issues. Mr. Gore incorporated strategically placed facts and statistics in discrediting Mr. Bushs claims. Although Mr. Bush tried to use facts, his facts were not completely correct. Taking these thoughts into consideration one must realize Mr. Gore dominated the second presidential debate of the 2000 election year....
