rhaps she just isn’t capable, she falls back on the defense that she’s a woman. Wait! I thought that being a woman wasn’t an excuse. I thought that in no circumstances could an employer use that as a barrier in qualification. And most certainly, I thought that women wanted to show their capabilities through proof—stepping outside the boundaries of the sexes. Yet, everything those women were supposed to stand for in the germination of “equal opportunity”, is all forgotten when failure occurs. All of these factors are dropped. Suddenly, there is a difference between man and woman. However, instead of celebrating one’s differences and accentuating them where they will be most noted, they sue for exceptions and unreasonable accommodations. The final result of this whole process is that we have unqualified people, not women or men, but people, serving in our industries. This becomes most crucial when we have unskilled and incapable individuals serving in capacities where lives are at stake. So next time you advocate “equal opportunity” behind the train of feminists, do realize that you’re not only standing for it, but also the validity of law suits, loop holes, and excuses. And for males who think it won’t effect them, just wait until one of those woman show up to save their child in a burning house--and she can’t even break down the door. In conclusion, I give a message to young women everywhere. Stand up and show your liberty. Dream high! Set your goals to coincide with your greatest ambitions. Examine your strengths and acknowledge your limitations; realize everything that you have to offer. Take the world by storm and work hard to gain your desired success.
