Now lower the jack with the sub frame and get someone to help you lift it to the floor.Now is the best time to remove the axles with a pry bar, and the cooler lines from the trans. Next, remove the two plastic flywheel covers with three 10mm bolts. And now the three 18mm torque converter bolts. Now disconnect the speed sensor wiring, and remove four (5 on 3.1) 13mm bolts from the bracket at the end of the trans. Now place trans jack under trans and remove the two final 18mm bell bolts. Separate the trans from the engine and lower it. This would be the point where you fix whatever is wrong with it, and reinstall it.
