possible essay Describe the different models of democracy discussed early in the semester and in the Barbour & Wright book. Most importantly the majoritarian, pluralist, and best model. How are basics of each found in action in the American lawmaking system? In other words, are there some features of senate that are pluralist? Area there some features that recommend best power? Or is congress a majoritarian society? Describe a mixture of rules and system that are at work in senate that fit into the models of democracy (that like the Filibuster, hold, rules group motion, agreed okay requests, simple greater part vote, 2/3 rejection override, and cloture motion) In other words, how does the house of government employ rules of argue that might fit one of the models of democracy better than the other?
