met more efficiently another way. Habit 5 is Seek First to Understand, Then To Be Understood. Communication is the key to this habit. If use are not willing to listen to another person’s point of view, you may miss out on the best way to resolve a situation. If you are a supervisor, Listening and understanding will be some of the tools that you use most. People that work for you will expect you to listen to them and to be compassionate. This habit will help you relate with others. Habit 6 is Synergize. The word synergy means that the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts. Basically, completed projects are worth more to you and to the workplace than specific parts of a project. You need to use habits 1 through 5 to Synergize and complete projects. Habit 7 is Sharpen The Saw. Habit 7 is to focus on you. You need to focus on your well being so that you can use the habits efficiently. There are four specific areas that you need to focus on. 1. Your Physical well being. This includes exercise, nutrition, and stress management.2. Your Mental well being. This includes reading, visualizing, planning, and writing.3. Your Social and Emotional well being. This includes empathy, synergy, and security.4. Your Spiritual well being. This includes value clarification and commitment, study and meditation. You need to take time to be good to yourself and take care of yourself, then you will be more valuable to yourself and to others. Overall I truly enjoyed this book and I will use these habits when completing things like homework. ...
