order and where to put the fire to help the children on the island. He insists that the fire be placed on the beach in order to give warmth and drive fear away form the littluns. The ways intelligence and common sense symbolize easily in the story.Savagery, unlawfulness and fear represent in ways that the normal man can determine. Jack represents evil because he wants things his way or not done at all. He uses ways of deceiving his mind to cause himself to be able to murder. Face painting releases him from morals that he once had. Jack plays upon the others fear to become their leader into savagery. The beastie is everything that the children fear. When they hear noises and see unexplainable things that scar them they call it the beastie. Jack uses this fear to make it into an idle upon which they leave sacrifices to. The Tribe represents savagery and unlawfulness. These children are different then the ones that first appeared on the island. They started with innocence at first but decided to do what they wanted leading to there unlawfulness. They choose to kill for fun rather than use rules and ways to tie them down. Some of the rules that should have been set are as follows: everyone does his part to help, order must be preserved, you need to use the restroom in the designated spot only, etc. The ways savagery, unlawfulness and fear are represented in the book in the ways that show themselves quite easily.The book shows a great quantity of symbolism throughout the entire story. It is this quality that makes the book tell a strong story of life without order. Another way to put it is a life with chaos as order in place of law....
