An organization should first decide to pursue funds in an aggressive manner in order to accomplish the basic goals of the organization. Non-profit organizations should also be mindful of the areas of fundraising in which they need help. There is not always a skilled grant writer within an organization, sometimes an organization must look to outside sources. Determining the needs of the organization is important.
