which are the same. They both believed that America should go back to inventors. They believed that to much federal money was being spent on scientists that did nothing.These pieces relate to chapter 27 because it goes through and talks a lot about Eisenhower and the things he thought and accomplished. This chapter also talks about Ginsberg and his life and beliefs. It shows similarities and differences in what they each believe. The chapter states that from both the left and the right different writers express anger power and fear the American mass media. Both sides felt traditional standards would be thrown out. They blamed the mass media for degrading the quality of American life. Ginsberg also states in his poem as a liberal Are you going to let your emotional life be run by Time Magazine? So he believes the same things. Both the liberals and the conservatives did not want the people to believe was the mass media told them.Even thought these two men were raised in completely different atmospheres and there beliefs are an the far right and the far left they still come together with wanting the same things for their country and the mass people in it. They want piece and for people to believe what is true not what they see through the mass media's eyes....
