Virtues look at what people or a company need to do in order to stick to their moral principles when their feelings, s, and passions tempt them to do otherwise. Virtue ethics looks at what virtues the principle of utilitarianism require a person or a firm to ivate.Virtue ethics do a better job of paralleling the law than does the utilitarian approach. The national labor laws do consider the greatest good for the greatest number of people. But the unfair labor statutes do the most good for American workers. Virtue ethics parallel and reinforce the unfair labor laws. The virtue precepts of benevolence, fairness, respect, and caring are at the heart of the prevention unfair labor practices. Interference, discrimination, tion, refusal to bargain in good faith, and coercion are held in check when the complimenting virtues are exercised by all parties. For this reason, I found that virtue ethics was the most useful and appropriate for this case study....
