ript to captivate the viewer and bring them into the underworld of the infamous mob.The story line of this episode contains many graphic and violent words, however the same string of events still exist, which are present in other episodes. Tony the shows main character is trying to break up his extra marital relationship with a Russian girl named Irina. Tony refers to her as his "Russian goomah" and is open about the relationship with his wife, to which he has two children by. Tony seeks the advice from his psychiatrist Dr. Melfi (another Italian descendent), on how to break off the relationship. As well, Dr. Melfi seeks the advice from her own psychiatrist because of the tensions that constantly arise when dealing with members of the criminal underworld that far exceed those of your typical suburb families.The subplot is very stereotypical of what lay persons outside of the mob world think predominately exists and that is of loyalty and respect. Tony's sister came to visit from Seattle, Washington and brought her abusive husband. During a violent between the married couple a shot was fired, ultimately killing the abusive husband. Tony with the assistance of his colleague, cut up the body in more easily disposable pieces. With that being done, Tony takes his sister to a bus station and tells her, "all in allId say it was a good visit." Peppered throughout the entire show were expressive phrases such as: "Those who want respect give respect", which reminds me of all of the earlier Godfather movies. Teaching each and every one of us that there is a silent code, existing, even outside the crime-ridden world of the mob that we live by or even strive for (Columbo 222). I remember growing up with the teachings of both my grandfather and father recalling such "old world philosophies" that instill good and loyal behavior, but not necessarily in synch of Judah Christian morals.In comparison, N.Y.P.D.
