One such aspect is multi-use of transactional, expressive, and poetic languages to convey felling and emotions. According to Britton, "All life is afloat on a sea of talk." It is this concept that I believe is the key for characters in both movies and the television programs that we are assigned to watch that empower these characters by use of dialog. The interaction among one another to demonstrate courage, bravado, and the style of language is essential for the audience to interpret the show. To become so involved that the viewer feels that they right there during the production of events during theses shows.Part FourExpressive language tends to be spontaneous and unrehearsed as Britton puts it, in which one is able to recast his or her experiences through a language style. In addition, these shows incorporate this expressive style within their own speech communities. Speech communities employ their own peculiar vocabulary, style, accent, and a way of looking at the world. When a person talks to members of either their own family around the dinner table, at work with their colleagues, or with your instructor demonstrating competency of a particular subject your language, tone, and style change to each (Columbo 230).
