This value of murder is very real in gangs and to people in gangs but they don’t consider it a sin. Many children in gangs murder each other because they are defending themselves. This line is the best line because it just is very true and people should know there is a way. “If we come together and make a stand, If we let people know that WE WILL NOT tolerate, Only then will we put an end to crime and hate.” The idea of murder is not as surprising as it was many years ago…in my mind we are so accustomed to it. A matter of Morality and Immorality by Dawn Evans is about the inequality of the entire world. This poem has to be one of the best poems I have read in a long time. The poem is about everything, which the world takes advantage of and it will make, you think no matter what your morals are. My favorite line is “Life is full of many roads, many detours, many signs misleading us. Life is insane, unfair, immoral, unjust.” This line best describes the entire life process in my opinion. Sheltered by Jordan is about all things that are wrong in the world. It states so many things that are wrong and we can’t do anything about it. The poem explains how life would be like if we lived in a sheltered life. I have a couple of favorite lines in this poem which are: “Everyone is different both inside and out, Yet we all have a little bit of everyone within ourselves.” Another line I like is “Some people are afraid to give love, Others can't seem to give enough.” I think this poem is a great example of morals because it shows that there are so many different roads you can take. I could have been by Dawn Evans is about values but not about murder. Actually it maybe about murder because some people consider abortion as murdering.
