ill able to do everything that anyone can. I felt like there was a different issue other than morals in this story. The issue was treating everyone the same no matter what disability they have. Also don’t act differently in front of people with disabilities or think they are different because this story shows that they are not. The theme is don’t judge a book by its cover. I personally try not too but it is hard to believe that a blind man did everything that “normal” people do. No one would ever consider a blind man to do drugs or drink alcohol or many other things he did. People treat blind people with sympathy.A Clean, Well-Lighted Place by Ernest Hemingway is not about love at all, which surprised me because I thought most of the works had to do with love. I am not sure what this story theme was but it wasn’t about murder. I think it had to do with impression because they wanted to be known as a clean area or an area that has a good impression.Girl by Jamaica Kincaid shows many ways to act like a girl.
