PROJECT MANAGEMENT

ive keys to neighborXXXXXXXXLegend:X- Primary ResponsibilityXX- General Support/InputConflict Resolution MethodologiesThe team identified to provide the planning and resources are the ones that will benefit from this project because the trip to Cancun is all-inclusive for the team and their spouses. With the $30,000 budget for the trip, we have six months to plan the trip, which we gladly take on. It is estimated that conflict will center on the inherent confusion of setting up the initial stages of this project’s life cycle. This trip will be a benefit for the company as well as the team. Each team member will benefit from the relaxation and decrease in lost quality time with our family. The trip to Cancun will also build morale within other teams because they will see the benefits and rewards that team players can achieve. Team members and family will be inclined to be more tolerant of future projects that their spouse spends working additional time and away from home because they will be included in the trip. Still conflict is inevitable. Our team will have other projects to work on as well as time restrictions will create an obstacle and added pressures to an already overloaded and or fully committed department. In the project’s formation stages we will need to obtain commitment from management and set the project’s relative priority. In the event that there are major issues among the team members, we will use negotiations and compromise by negotiating within the team. We will be directed at obtaining the best outcome for the project. Conflicts will be settled without permanent damage. We will foster honesty, and the solution must satisfy all individuals as well as the organization’s needs; our aim is to achieve WIN-WIN results....
