new world where there is no suffering. The suffering of the lost souls will be totally disconnected with the new world where as it is not today (Stewart 4). A more radical view is the Universalist View. This view degrades Hell to a temporary holding tank where people will learn about God and eventually enter Heaven (Hell: eternal 2). Some Christians champion this view because they think that it upholds the Biblical teaching that God is love. They say that a loving God could never eternally torment His creation that He loves so dearly. It essentially tries to take hell out of Hell (Hell: eternal 2). This view, though, is way out of line. They take one aspect of Christianity and ignore almost everything else the Bible has to say on the subject of Hell. It does not mean that God is not love when He punishes people. God Lygrisse 5warns us that we make the decision to go to Heaven or Hell. The Bible clearly states that the wicked will perish John 3:16, Psalms 37:10, Phillippians 3:19 (KJV). The wicked will be eternally tormented in Hell. Mormons believe in a version of the Universalist View. The Latter Day Saints believe that the wicked will go to what is called spirit prison (Judd). In this prison, everyone will learn of God and His teachings. Then, at an appointed time, God will resurrect everybody from this prison (this is the sinners essentially going through a second death), and everyone who decides to accept Christ will go to Heaven, and everyone who rejects Him will go into outer darkness (Judd). Therefore, it is almost impossible for people to be thrown into this outer darkness, for they say nobody in their right mind would choose to go there. This is an erroneous view, though. It claims that there is a post-mortem (Rood 2) chance for salvation just like the Universalist view claims. What about the Bible, though? They forgot about what the Bible says, and the Mormons alos claim to believe in the Bible. Hebrews 9:2...
