he wind picked up a little today and the ocean was a little rougher than it had been lately. The only pod we had been able to find was way off in the distance. Our data came out ok, but I am pretty sure there were a few errors on the map some where.Underwater noise pollution is the topic of the lecture today. Team 5 was giving us the discussion notes and leading our debating. We learned that before humans started exploring the seas the clarity at which sound could travel could be measured in thousands of miles as compared to now in hundreds of miles. We learned that boats, sonar, even events occurring on land were effecting the level at which sound traveled in the water.
