eird is gonna happen. As for right now I have to go help my group do our calculations and estimate the damage. I’ll be back after class.Well I was right on many fronts. The lecture was run in a game show style ‘a la’ “Win Ben Stein’s Money.” Team TG (us) won with a total of 1000 points and won the right to fight over a bag of starbursts. Class time today was to be spent studying and there would be no lecture. I spent the following 2 hours, after completing our calculations, helping my teammates study for the test.Today, on the 14th, the entire OMI class and research was halted. The culprit… our first test of the course, the dreaded midterm. But because I was not from Albright College and I since Keuka doesn’t offer a course similar to this field of study I am exempt from this test. None the less I did help my teammates study for this test for an additional four hours today. Judging from how they looked after the test I think they did ok. Tomorrow we are trying a new research site to replace McGregor. Hopefully the weather will cooperate more and there won’t be as many boats. Maybe we can get some more good readings.Jan. 15th Team TG vs. McGregor’s Replacement.Today we went to a new part of the island that wasn’t quite as far west as McGregor point was. The new location has affectionately earned the name of “The Cliffs.” At this location the cliffs sit right above the water about 100 feet high. Our very first time ...
