eed. Socialist feminists have not yet designed a way to solve this particular problem. In addition, though, there are men out there who truly want to be fathers. Would they ever have a right to even bring up the issue of conceiving or not conceiving a child? If men too are sharing in domestic labor and childrearing, then it would make sense for them to be able to want a child of their own blood. For this to happen, a man would somehow or another have to ask the woman without seeming to impose upon her reproductive freedom. It is these conflicts that make me wary of socialist feminists societal goal of reproductive freedom for women. It is true that childbirth takes an incredible amount of effort and energy from the woman, so the decision should be largely up to her.
