Sexual Orientation1

ual research concerning identity. Identity, especially on a teenage/college level, is very important to most people. It is difficult for confused adolescents to find their place in a culture that does not essentially accept homosexuals. During high school, most teens have a hard time dealing with their sexuality if indeed they are gay. Ivan Pavlov studied a type of conditioning in which he experimented with animals by adding a stimulus that normally would not elicit a certain behavior. People have a core sexuality that is either heterosexual or homosexual (Garnetts & Kimmel 121). It is my opinion that there may never be an answer as to why people are gay. The Bible does condemn homosexual activity but does not condemn love. Social and moral issues are at the top of the continuum as to whether or not homosexuality is an act of nature or just a choice ...
