In this case, it is a sign that the members are dedicated to their convictions and dont take their charge lightly. There is some turnover in membership, but this type of conflict resolution and processing is somewhat common within the organization. The DAPC is not an island unto itself in that respect.ConclusionThe DAPC is an effective tool and plays its role effectively in the framework of the larger organization. It is made up of dedicated members and works cohesively in spite of the factor I have introduced in this paper. I do not want to portray this group in a negative light. Many of the concepts we have learned in this class are clearly at work in this group, but maybe in a less conventional sense. Thats fine for this group; I dont think they would want to be thought of as conventional anyway.Area 2Online Class AssessmentI see my role in the larger framework of this online class as one of a mutual collaborator. In this structure we dont necessarily work towards any real common goal. In terms of the win lose paradigms; my situation is one of a win/lose paradigm. I have the ability to win or lose, but my success or failure does not directly affect the rest of the members. I dont win at their expense. It could be said that we as a unit are in a win/win situation where we collaborate and assist each other in working towards our individual goals.In the threaded discussions, we collaborate to include diverse viewpoints and feed off the input of others. The thread format I find particularly effective because it does not require all of us to be in the same place at the same time. I have found it to be a very useful tool.
