However their view as to what happens does not differ much from the others. They believe that Christ will setup His kingdom and reign on earth for a thousand years; except that, He will not reign alone, all the redeemed - Jew and Gentile - will be there with Him (181). As well as this distinction, they also trust that the unbelieving nations will remain on earth and be ruled, and sin and death will also abide. Although these two components of the devil are there, righteousness will prevail until the thousand year period ends and Satan is unbound (181). Satan now gathers the rebellious nations together to fight the saints in the battle of Gog and Magog (181). Unfortunately for Satan, fire from heaven is sent and he is cast into the lake of fire.p6 After the thousand year reign on earth, the resurrection of the unbelievers occurs. The judgment of both unbelieving and believing begins. Those whose names that are not written in the Book of Life will also be cast into the lake of fire. This is concluded with the believers with God in heaven for eternity, and nonbelievers in hell for eternity.Conclusion In my opinion, Historic premillennialism is Biblically sound. After looking through Revelation 19 and 20 (they apply both to their beliefs about the rapture), I found that much of what they believed was straight out of the Bible.Postmillennialism Postmillennialism ordained it's name from the belief that Christ will return after the thousand years is expired (Pentecost 385).
