ll add a survey aspect to the study to find out how important the rebellion attitude is to actual users and non-users. This is important in that it should be taken into account in the formation of the United State’s drug policy. Perhaps this variable is a reason that the drug policy is failing miserably. Hopefully this could lead to a change for the better. It could very well be that legalization could actually reduce overall usage of a drug by removing this psychological factor, after all it seems that the suppression of other variables has not truly created desired results. Therefore drugs are used in response to this belief as a way to rebel against this control and say that they are doing with their lives as they please, whether or not it will be at the expense of their lives.
