If he turns pail then that will be a sign that what the ghost said was true.Act IIIThe king and Queen interrogate Hamlets friends that came to spy on him. They said that they feel he is dangerous but that he has not given them the reason for being so upset. Claudius orders them to keep on trying while the play is going on.Claudius and Polonius hide while Ophelia and Hamlet talk. They see how Hamlet tells Ophelia that he never loved her and get very mad at her. So Claudius suggests that it is not love that is making him crazy. He also wants to send him to the embassy in England, but Polonius convinced to him to wait until after the play.Before the play he told the actors to do what they were told. While the play was going on and the scene with the killing occurred Claudius got angered and ordered the play to stop. Hamlet was now positive that what the ghost told was true. Hamlet then is told that Gertrude wants to see him he promises not to hurt her but will be upset. Claudius orders Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to take Hamlet to England, but Polonius asks to let them spy on his conversation with his mother. Claudius is then left alone he kneels down and begins to pray about the crime he commit. Hamlet comes behind him and takes his sword out but doesn’t want to kill him when he is praying because he will go to heaven, so he leaves.Hamlet then goes to Gertrude’s room, she is so surprised that she screams, Polonius was hiding in the room and he yells back. Hamlet believes that he was Claudius and stabs through the curtain, he then realizes it was Polonius and tells his mother of the plans they have against him.Act IVGertrude reports Polonius’ death to Claudius.
