Although one can agree an abortion in he first trimester is still violent, an abortion in the third trimester, called partial-birth abortion, is the worst act of violence one could ever experience. This is performed in the fifth month or later in the pregnancy. The womans cervix is dilated, and the fetus is partially removed from the womb, feet first. The surgeon jabs a sharp object into the back of the fetus head, removes it, and inserts a vacuum tube through the brain and then extracted (Robinson 1999). This procedure is just as brutal, if not more, than a murder of a fully-grown human being. Many women choose these abortions if the pregnancy in a danger to their own health or the baby is deformed. This deformed or handicapped baby has just as much right as any other human. Should we kill born, deformed or handicapped people too (Warren and Dwiggins 19??)?
