Green Party

ones money. They feel that the poor are getting poorer, and the rich are getting richer. The green party believes that we should create more jobs, which are ecologically balanced, and that pay not just minimum wage, but to meet the persons standards or living. This means pay would vary for every county, or city instead of for the entire state. For instance minimum wage in Petaluma might be 13 dollars to 15 dollars an hour because of the amount of house starts, and the amount of inflation of prices we have seen in these last few months. But in an area like eureka, or lake county the minimum wage would be more around 10 dollars because the housing there is so much less than in the bay area. Also, to decrease the amount of monopolization in this country, the green party believes in locally owned, and run businesses. There is too much money going to these big corporations, and it is bankrupting the smaller stores, and the green party does not approve of this. Today our society is primarily based on patriarchal roots that make women seem inferior to men. The green party believes strongly in feminism. By this, I do not mean men should act more like women, but by this I mean that women be taken more seriously. Up until this point women have always been paid less than men, and have not always been able to receive the same jobs, or respect men would receive. But in a world run by the green party, women would be just as important for men, and there would be more of a variation in managements, politics, and every thing else. Instead of just men, it would be more evenly split up between men and women. At the same time that they support gender split up, they also support ethnic diversity.As I stated above, they believe in non-prejudice of these other races, but also they believe that these races should expand their activity with each other.
