Chapter 8 How to decrease staff turnover?Every time a position is vacated and a new employee must be hired or trained, there is a replacement cycle.This replacement cycle is called turnover.There are certain things a company can do to keep a low turnover:When employers know the reasons why their employees stay in the company, the employers can focus on these reasons. These reasons can be used to influence other employees.Give employees recognition when they do their jobs well, so that they will feel appreciated.Give employees chances to develop their skills and abilities. This will make employees aware of the fact that there is a chance for them to grow in the company.Let employees participate in the decision making process.
